This work without title by August Löhr was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. It achieved a price of USD 34,375.00 (€ 27,637.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by August Löhr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Valle De México in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von August Löhr kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 34.375,00 (€ 27.637,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von August Löhr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Valle De México im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
