In February this year Phillips in an online auction held the auction What Now?: Online Auction, which included the work Usacchi with Two Dogs by Atsushi Kaga. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,845.09), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsushi Kaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Breakfast in January in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 302,049.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion What Now?: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Usacchi with Two Dogs von Atsushi Kaga zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.845,09) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsushi Kaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Breakfast in January im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 302.049,93).
