Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Atsushi Kaga achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in February last year. In the My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction auction, the work Elvis Costello sold for HKD 18,900.00 (€ 2,153.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsushi Kaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Breakfast in January in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 302,049.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Atsushi Kaga erzielte im Februar letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Elvis Costello für HKD 18.900,00 (€ 2.153,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsushi Kaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Breakfast in January im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 302.049,93).
