Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Work by Atsuko Tanaka. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 6,000.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsuko Tanaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 12,700,000.00 (€ 1,499,054.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work von Atsuko Tanaka zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 6.000,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsuko Tanaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.700.000,00 (€ 1.499.054,61).
