A top price for Atsuko Tanaka
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Brushwork II – All The World’s a Stage, which included the work Work by Atsuko Tanaka. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 12,700,000.00 (€ 1,499,054.61), 41% above the upper estimate. With this result, Work is even the most expensive work of art by Atsuko Tanaka that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Brushwork II – All The World’s a Stage durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work von Atsuko Tanaka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 12.700.000,00 (€ 1.499.054,61) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Work sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Atsuko Tanaka, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
