Auction result well in line with expectations
The work D1 by Atsuko Tanaka was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 60,480.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsuko Tanaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 12,700,000.00 (€ 1,499,054.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit D1 von Atsuko Tanaka wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 60.480,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsuko Tanaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.700.000,00 (€ 1.499.054,61).
