Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On The Beach by Asli Torcu was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,292.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Asli Torcu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Cehennem Bahcesi (Hell'S Garden) was auctioned for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,446.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On The Beach von Asli Torcu kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.292,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Asli Torcu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Cehennem Bahcesi (Hell'S Garden) für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.446,29) versteigert.
