A top price for Asli Torcu - as previously expected
The work Cehennem Bahcesi (Hell'S Garden) by Asli Torcu was sold in the Contemporary Art/ Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in April 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,446.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cehennem Bahcesi (Hell'S Garden) is the most expensive artwork by Asli Torcu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Cehennem Bahcesi (Hell'S Garden) von Asli Torcu wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.446,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Cehennem Bahcesi (Hell'S Garden) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Asli Torcu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
