Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Senza titolo by Arturo Tosi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,800.00. Admittedly, works by Arturo Tosi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paese di San Lorenzo in November 2000 with an auction result of ITL 42,300,000.00 (€ 38,923.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Arturo Tosi wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 7.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arturo Tosi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paese di San Lorenzo im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 42.300.000,00 (€ 38.923,40).
