In June last year Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Rovetta by Arturo Tosi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Tosi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paese di San Lorenzo in November 2000 with an auction result of ITL 42,300,000.00 (€ 38,923.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rovetta von Arturo Tosi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Tosi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paese di San Lorenzo im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 42.300.000,00 (€ 38.923,40).
