Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arturo Herrera could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Four Works: Untitled changed hands for USD 2,394.00 (€ 2,067.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Herrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 389,000.00 (€ 299,507.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arturo Herrera konnte im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Four Works: Untitled für USD 2.394,00 (€ 2.067,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Herrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 389.000,00 (€ 299.507,24).
