Admittedly, works by Arthur William Devis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of the children of Benjamin Goldsmid, with a pony and a dog in a landscape in May last year with an auction result of GBP 201,600.00 (€ 237,163.21).
