The work Champagne by Arthur Wardle was worth GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,678.93) to a buyer in November 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Annabel's at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Wardle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Fairy Tale "All seemed to sleep, the timid hare on form" - Scott. in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 337,875.00 (€ 386,081.08).

Die Arbeit Champagne von Arthur Wardle war einem Käufer im November 2018 GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.678,93) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Annabel's bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Wardle erzielen.
