Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work A winter's sunset by Arthur Vidal Diehl for USD 625.00 (€ 453.13). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Vidal Diehl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Cosmic Salvation) in January this year with an auction result of USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,219.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A winter's sunset von Arthur Vidal Diehl für USD 625,00 (€ 453,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Vidal Diehl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Cosmic Salvation) im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.219,75).
