In the The House Sale auction, the work Cows grazing near a stream sold for USD 7,800.00 (€ 6,148.03) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arthur Parton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lake Scene in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 32,760.00 (€ 27,956.99).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Parton erzielte im September 2006 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit Cows grazing near a stream für USD 7.800,00 (€ 6.148,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Parton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lake Scene im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 27.956,99).
