Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Fall Scene by Arthur Okamura for USD 357.00 (€ 336.73). This price was achieved in the auction Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Arthur Okamura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work When the Moon is Black in February this year with an auction result of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,367.29).
