In September this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online, which included the work Conversation, 1932 by Arthur Murch. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 1,599.00 (€ 974.60), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Murch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Crouching Female Figure, which sold at auction in November 2009 for AUD 6,300.00 (€ 3,841.60).

Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Conversation, 1932 von Arthur Murch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 1.599,00 (€ 974,60) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Murch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Crouching Female Figure beobachtet, die im November 2009 für AUD 6.300,00 (€ 3.841,60) versteigert wurde.
