Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rock And Wrack Of A Pine by Arthur Lismer was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in June 2010. Here, the upper estimate of CAD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CAD 36,000.00 (€ 27,614.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Lismer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bon Echo Rock in June 2010 with an auction result of CAD 778,750.00 (€ 597,352.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rock And Wrack Of A Pine von Arthur Lismer kam im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CAD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CAD 36.000,00 (€ 27.614,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Lismer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bon Echo Rock im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 778.750,00 (€ 597.352,13).
