The price achieved of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 32,000.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur John Elsley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Hours in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 831,000.00 (€ 979,259.96).
