A top price for Arthur Hayward - as previously expected
The work The Harbour At Polperro by Arthur Hayward was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,693.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Harbour At Polperro is the most expensive artwork by Arthur Hayward that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Harbour At Polperro von Arthur Hayward kam im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.693,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Harbour At Polperro das teuerste Kunstwerk von Arthur Hayward, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
