Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning, St. Ives by Arthur Hayward was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2004. The price achieved of GBP 6,572.50 (€ 9,781.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Arthur Hayward have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2007 the work The Harbour At Polperro was auctioned for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,693.66).
