Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Patti Hansen and Keith Richards, 1981 by Arthur Elgort. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,927.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Elgort achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kate Moss à la Brasserie Lipp, Paris, pour Italian Vogue, septembre 1993 in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Patti Hansen and Keith Richards, 1981 von Arthur Elgort zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.927,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Elgort erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kate Moss à la Brasserie Lipp, Paris, pour Italian Vogue, septembre 1993 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
