It achieved a price of EUR 2,151.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Chaplin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Floral Still Life in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 180,000.00 (€ 131,771.60).

Die Arbeit A Pair of Mixed Summer Bouquets von Arthur Chaplin kam im September 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.151,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Chaplin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Floral Still Life im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 180.000,00 (€ 131.771,60).
