This work of art by Arthur Chaplin could be acquired at Christies in Paris in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Exposition au Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Vente chez Christie's auction, the work Bouquet de marguerites dans un vase changed hands for EUR 212.50 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Chaplin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Floral Still Life in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 180,000.00 (€ 131,771.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Chaplin konnte im September 2011 bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Exposition au Palais Abbatial de Royaumont - Vente chez Christie's wechselte die Arbeit Bouquet de marguerites dans un vase für EUR 212,50 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Chaplin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Floral Still Life im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 180.000,00 (€ 131.771,60).
