Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL DRAWINGS AND WATERCOLOURS AND ILLUST, which included the work Near Cambridge by Arthur Anderson Fraser. The price achieved of GBP 352.50 (€ 575.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Other works by Arthur Anderson Fraser have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2001 the work A Backwater On The Ouse was auctioned for GBP 376.00 (€ 624.61).
