Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Straw by Arsen Savadov was sold in the Contemporary Art Day auction at Phillips in London in October 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,128.94). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arsen Savadov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ukrainian Drill, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 79,000.00 (€ 50,745.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Straw von Arsen Savadov wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.128,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arsen Savadov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ukrainian Drill beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 79.000,00 (€ 50.745,12) versteigert wurde.
