Auction result misses estimated price range
In August last year a collector was able to acquire the work Man Ray by Arnold Newman for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,520.12). This price was achieved in the auction PhotographsSummer Cut at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnold Newman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Igor Stravinsky, New York City. in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Man Ray von Arnold Newman für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.520,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PhotographsSummer Cut bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnold Newman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Igor Stravinsky, New York City. im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
