Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century EuropeanArt, which included the work The Vordense Beek In Autumn by Arnold Marc Gorter. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arnold Marc Gorter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Summer; Winter in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 70,500.00 (€ 32,358.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Vordense Beek In Autumn von Arnold Marc Gorter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnold Marc Gorter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Summer; Winter im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 70.500,00 (€ 32.358,18).
