Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ducks near a pond in autumn by Arnold Marc Gorter was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2013. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnold Marc Gorter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer; Winter in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 70,500.00 (€ 32,358.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ducks near a pond in autumn von Arnold Marc Gorter kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnold Marc Gorter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer; Winter im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 70.500,00 (€ 32.358,18).
