Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Shoemakers by Arnold Lakhovsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,807.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Arnold Lakhovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 110,880.00 (€ 123,862.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Shoemakers von Arnold Lakhovsky kam im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.807,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnold Lakhovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.880,00 (€ 123.862,84).
