Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work Portrait of a Gentleman, seated, with a lace collar and a sword by Arnaldo Tamburini. The price achieved of USD 1,320.00 (€ 1,119.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Tamburini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A good vintage; and Wine tasting in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 12,925.00 (€ 15,230.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a Gentleman, seated, with a lace collar and a sword von Arnaldo Tamburini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.320,00 (€ 1.119,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Tamburini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A good vintage; and Wine tasting im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.925,00 (€ 15.230,97).
