In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work La notizia by Arnaldo Tamburini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,225.20), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnaldo Tamburini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A good vintage; and Wine tasting, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 12,925.00 (€ 15,230.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit La notizia von Arnaldo Tamburini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.225,20) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Tamburini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A good vintage; and Wine tasting beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für USD 12.925,00 (€ 15.230,97) versteigert wurde.
