Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Pears, Two Apples, Window Sill II by Armando Morales was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in July 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,057.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 982,000.00 (€ 929,748.15).
