A top price for Armando Marrocco - as previously expected
The work Intreccio by Armando Marrocco was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Intreccio is the most expensive artwork by Armando Marrocco that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Intreccio von Armando Marrocco wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Intreccio das teuerste Kunstwerk von Armando Marrocco, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
