Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,406.72), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Armand Schönberger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nude Composition in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,529.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Boats In Harbor von Armand Schönberger wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.406,72) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Schönberger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nude Composition im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.529,62).
