Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Rustic Summerlandscape by Armand Guéry was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in September 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armand Guéry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soir d'Autumne (Chapagne); Lever de lune sur la Suippe, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).

Die Arbeit A Rustic Summerlandscape von Armand Guéry wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Armand Guéry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Soir d'Autumne (Chapagne); Lever de lune sur la Suippe beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für USD 15.275,00 (€ 18.000,24) versteigert wurde.
