In the Barbizon, Realist and French Landscape Paintings auction, the work A Shepherd and his Flock changed hands for USD 8,225.00 (€ 8,817.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armand Guéry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soir d'Autumne (Chapagne); Lever de lune sur la Suippe, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).
