Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle auction, the work Pontgivart, Near Reims changed hands for EUR 4,375.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Armand Guéry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Soir d'Autumne (Chapagne); Lever de lune sur la Suippe in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Armand Guéry konnte im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle wechselte die Arbeit Pontgivart, Near Reims für EUR 4.375,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Guéry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Soir d'Autumne (Chapagne); Lever de lune sur la Suippe im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.275,00 (€ 18.000,24).
