Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the dunes by Aris Knikker was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. The price achieved of EUR 840.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aris Knikker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A View Of A Village At Dusk, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 3,360.00.

Die Arbeit In the dunes von Aris Knikker kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 840,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Aris Knikker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A View Of A Village At Dusk beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 3.360,00 versteigert wurde.
