In June 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Fishing In Summer by Aris Knikker. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,040.00 70% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Aris Knikker; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A View Of A Village At Dusk sold at auction in March 2007 with the realized price of EUR 3,360.00.

Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing In Summer von Aris Knikker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.040,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Aris Knikker; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A View Of A Village At Dusk im März 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 3.360,00.
