The work By a bridge by Aris Knikker was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,553.50 73% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aris Knikker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A View Of A Village At Dusk, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 3,360.00.

Die Arbeit By a bridge von Aris Knikker wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.553,50 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Aris Knikker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A View Of A Village At Dusk beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 3.360,00 versteigert wurde.
