Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work Composizione astratta by Aref Al Rayyes. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,744.49). Admittedly, works by Aref Al Rayyes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Visions of the Third World in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,725.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione astratta von Aref Al Rayyes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.744,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aref Al Rayyes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Visions of the Third World im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.725,39).
