This artwork by Aref Al Rayyes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June 2019. In the MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale auction, the work Abstract Composition sold for GBP 10,062.50 (€ 11,311.74) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aref Al Rayyes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Visions of the Third World, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,725.39).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Aref Al Rayyes erzielte im Juni 2019 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Abstract Composition für GBP 10.062,50 (€ 11.311,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Aref Al Rayyes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Visions of the Third World beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.725,39) versteigert wurde.
