The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,255.51), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arbit Blatas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The artist's studio, which sold at auction in July this year for USD 12,800.00 (€ 11,615.25).
