In June 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Living with Art, which included the work The artist's studio by Arbit Blatas. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,120.32), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Arbit Blatas have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 12,800.00 (€ 11,615.25) in July this year for the work The artist's studio.
