Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ara Güler achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in December 2020. In the The Gift of Photographs auction, the work Aerial studies, Noah's Ark, Mount Ararat and Mount Tunduruk sold for USD 5,355.00 (€ 4,378.58) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ara Güler; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Edirne, Turkey, 1956 sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,125.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ara Güler erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ara Güler; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Edirne, Turkey, 1956 im Mai 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.125,92).
