A top price for Antony Troncet
This artwork by Antony Troncet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision auction, the work French Au Bord Du Lac sold for GBP 38,900.00 (€ 54,470.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. This high result makes French Au Bord Du Lac the most expensive artwork by Antony Troncet that we have observed at auctions so far.
