Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French Un Moment De Repos by Antony Troncet was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,113.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antony Troncet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Au Bord Du Lac, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 38,900.00 (€ 54,470.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit French Un Moment De Repos von Antony Troncet kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.113,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Antony Troncet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Au Bord Du Lac beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 38.900,00 (€ 54.470,06) versteigert wurde.
