Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Personal Studies Space People by Antonio López García. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,982.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio López García achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mujer durmiendo (El Sueño) in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 684,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personal Studies Space People von Antonio López García zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.982,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio López García erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mujer durmiendo (El Sueño) im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 684.000,00.
