Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tjinta – Damai (Love & Peace) by Antonio Blanco was sold in the Ritual + Culture OnlineFine Southeast Asian Arts auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2020. The price achieved of HKD 20,400.00 (€ 2,402.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Blanco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Balinese Woman With Child in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,140,000.00 (€ 312,594.54).
